Well, it’s Berlin, baby — easier to find a latex fetish store here than a decent ski/board shop. So frankly, you’re probably better off shopping online.
That said, if you really must visit a brick-and-mortar establishment, here they are:
- Der Berg Ruft — it’s basically the ski/board shop of Berlin; somewhat expensive though
- Blue Tomato — a more affordable boardshop; the Ku’damm location has a better selection than the one at Alexa
- Ski Shop Charlottenburg
And some additional places worth checking out:
- Ski Sport Stadl, sporting a second-hand section
- Decathlon and Intersport — solid for basic gear
- Globetrotter — good for high-quality supplementary equipment such as clothes, ski backpacks and thermal underwear
And just another place specializing in ski service and rental:
- Skiprofis Berlin at Bornholmerstr. 79
Finally, some distantly related knowledge: some of the best deals can be found (surprisngly) in places like Chamonix during end-of-season sales.
