A destination we haven’t thought of earlier. Here’s what one of our readers is writing about it:
The best ski area is Kopaonik — I could (very subjectively) say better than Bansko and not much longer trip from the airport.
Stara Planina is smaller (bigger mountain, but the ski area doesn’t correspond to the potential).
Flying to Niš with Ryanair (from ...) or Belgrade with easyJet (from ...) is very affordable.
Kopaonik ski resort: elevation 1770-2017m, max elevation difference 512m.
